Finding the right wedding photographer can be overwhelming. There are so many options, and this is a once in a lifetime moment. I have gathered some of the questions I have been asked most often during consultations to help you decide sooner if I am the right fit as your wedding photographer. Serving you well on your wedding day is something I am super passionate about, and if you think I'm the one, hopefully this list will confirm it for you!

HOW FAR AHEAD SHOULD WE BOOK YOU? | I am always booking 18 months in advance. Couples usually book their photographer immediately after securing their venue. Most of my couples book 8-12 months in advance, but I photographed a wedding with 28 hours/ notice so when in doubt, reach out! You never know when there may be a random opening in my schedule!
DO YOU ALLOW PAYMENT PLANS? | Absolutely! The vast majority of my clients make payments on their wedding photography.
WHAT DO YOU REQUIRE TO BOOK? | I require a 20% retainer and signed contract to secure your wedding date + plan your engagement session.
HOW DO WE BOOK YOU? | Step one. Click the "Connect" tab and send me an inquiry! I will double check that I am available for your date, and we will schedule a phone consultation to see if we may be a good fit!
HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE? | Please see the Weddings tab for more detailed information on pricing. Pricing for full wedding coverage begins at $3,000, and most of my clients spend around $4,800-$6,200 for full wedding day photography coverage, which generally includes full day wedding coverage with at least one photographer, an optional second shooter for at least a portion of the day, a full digital gallery of professionally edited + high resolution images, and an engagement session also with a full digital gallery of professionally edited + high resolution images.
HOW DO WE PAY YOU? | I send all of my contracts and invoices electronically, and you can pay online easily and securely. I also can accept payment through PayPal, Venmo, or by check.
DO YOU DO ENGAGEMENT SESSIONS? | Yes! You have the option to add one onto your wedding coverage. They are great to help us get to know one another and make you feel more comfortable for wedding day photos. They also come in handy for save the dates, wedding websites, and wedding décor.
SHOULD WE HIRE A SECOND SHOOTER? | Having photographed over 100 weddings in my career, I am confident in shooting a wedding on my own. However, having a second shooter has been invaluable to me on wedding days in so many situations. I highly recommend hiring a second shooter. I have an entire team of second shooters who work with me regularly, and I will schedule one of them to work alongside me for your wedding day if you choose to add this option onto your wedding collection.
SHOULD WE HAVE A FIRST LOOK? | I LOVE a First Look. However, if you decide that a First Look is not for you, I will NOT pressure you. As your photographer, it is my job to educate you on why First Looks are helpful during your wedding day and let you make the best decision for you two as a couple. I have done weddings both with and without First Looks with happy clients all around, but it is my personal preference as your photographer to have a First Look.
DO YOU TRAVEL? | Yes! I am ALWAYS ready for an adventure. Mountains? Sea? Abroad? Passport + carry-on are always ready. All long distance wedding quotes are done on an individual basis and will include travel, accommodations, and reasonable per diem.
